If anyone is looking for a place to relax, get away from hustle and bustle, and recharge, this is it. The cottage is as described in many of the other reviews. It’s clean, neat, cozy, well equipped, and has every amenity. What the pictures, reviews, and description can’t describe, is the feel and vibe. The house and location, give you a real Island, low country feel. While being only a short drive to Gulf Shores, it has a very secluded, isolated feel, that is both comforting, and transforming. Best described as almost getting caught up in everyone’s desire for an escape to a tropical island. Everything you need is located close by. We discovered a wonderful seafood market, butcher shop, and fresh produce store, very close by, next to the Dollar General. Also Pines Grocery has everything you need for enjoying fishing, and the beach. Fishing from the dock, is very very good. Boil your bait shrimp first, it makes it harder for the croakers to steal. We caught numerous Lady Fish, sea trout, catfish, and croakers. Dauphins were abundant daily, and some mornings would come almost to the dock. Sunrise, unmatched sunsets, church bells every 1/2 hour, seagulls, and pelicans. It’s all part of an unforgettable experience that Don and Kay offer at there Little House by the Bay. Regardless of where you are from, you will be transformed to another world, and will have a beach vacation like no other.

Perfect getaway for two lifelong friends. Owners are kind and accommodating. The property is beautiful, we especially enjoyed sitting on the pier. The house had everything we needed. We are already talking about going back. Highly recommend for a vacation stay.
