About the Property

The Summer Salt underwent a complete renovation in 2013, and feature large decks on the West and East ends of the house.  The West Deck provides a great unobstructed view of the Gulf.  The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a very large great room/kitchen.  
 
We provide satellite TV with televisions in all rooms and wireless internet access. Parking under the house for 1 car with parking for 2 additional vehicles in the driveway.  
 
The maximum occupancy is 6.  
 
The master bedroom has a private bath, patio door to the deck and a king-size bed.  
 
The second bedroom has a twin bed and two bunk beds (sleeps 3). An additional cot sleeps 1 if needed.
 
Summer Salt is a non-smoking house, and pets and firearms are not allowed.  
 
** The Summer Salt has been updated and a house has been built in the left lot since the location video was made.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Summer Salt. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. It's only a few steps to the beach. The beach is clean and peaceful. There was a sea turtle's nest close by, and it was close to the time for them to hatch. Unfortunately our vacation ended before that happened...that would've been neat to see! The Mecke's are great to work with. The reservation and check in process was easy, and the house was stocked as they described. The pictures don't do it justice. We hope to come back soon!

Great space

This house had enough space for our family of 5 to sit comfortably at the kitchen table for meals and games. Also enough seating in the living room for all of us. It was pretty hot during our short visit so our beach time was in the morning and after dinner. Never crowded, always clean beach. House was clean and well cared for. Would love to stay here again.

I highly recommend this place! Very clean, walking distance to the beach, not a far drive into town, I have zero complaints! This trip was a girls trip for 4 of us but the house is big enough for a family as well. I will be bringing my husband and kids back one day!!!????
