Breakfast at First Settlers
Breakfast at East Grand Lake is a treat when you’re at the First Settlers Lodge! For early risers, we always have fresh coffee, fruit, cereal and homemade breads/pastries available. A full breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
 
Dinner
First Settlers Lodge is now open to the public for dining. Enjoy intimate dining featuring “fresh from the wharf“ seafood and house rib-eyes. Checkout our menus on Facebook. Reservations required.
Overnight guests of the lodge are welcome to enjoy daily meals at the lodge, with advance arrangements.
 
First Settler's Lodge offers a relaxed atmosphere and a variety of accommodations, including a luxury suite, efficiency apartment, bunk style loft, and four spacious bedrooms that accommodate two to six, all with private baths and views. Easy access to snowmobile, ATV and hiking trails. Guide services available. A view from every room! Conveniently located near East Grand Lake, on scenic Route 1 in Weston, Maine. Restaurant on premises.
 
History
Established in 1998.
First Settlers Lodge was built in 1998. The original owners had it as a seasonal Lodge and were closed in the winter months. In 2011, it became a year around Lodge. The Lodge has a loyal following of repeat guests. To attract new guests to our wonderful area, the Lodge has expanded it's dining services. The Lodge dining is always available to guests, but we now are open to public dining on Fridays and Saturdays as well as any special events. The Lodge also has a full service catering license and has catered weddings, anniversaries, family reunions, class reunions, baby showers to name a few. We can facilitate it here at the Lodge or at your venue.

Cancellation Policy

Children
The lodge is appropriate for well-behaved children.
 
Smoking
First Settlers Lodge is a non-smoking facility. Guests who enjoy tobacco are asked to smoke outside in designated areas. There is a $200 charge for the discovery of tobacco use in the rooms
 
Guided Arrangements
Payments for guide services should be made directly to the registered guides.
 
Pet Policy
The Lodge is a limited pet friendly Lodge. Please do not show up at the Lodge with your pet. You need to contact the Lodge to ensure we have a pet room available and you understand our pet rules prior to arrival. You will be required to sign our pet rules agreement upon arriving. Our pet fee is $50 per stay.
 
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a reserved room requires 2 weeks notice. Your credit card used to hold the room will be charged for failure to notify the lodge of a cancellation.

Wonderful lodge to stay

Wonderful lodge to stay at. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Beautiful place and owners were so friendly and accommodating. Comfortable, quiet, and nicely decorated rooms. Fantastic views off of the front porch through the massive window feature of the greatroom. Breakfast was excellent and a full dinner menu as well. Could not be more satisfied with our stay - we both wish it could have been longer.
