About the Property

This is a fantastic - location right off main street in Chatham downtown area - 5 minute walk to Oyster Pond Ocean Inlet - right across from Chatham Village Market and one of the most popular restaurant - Del Mar! and two buildings down from the Chatham Cheese Shop! Miss the downtown traffic and enjoy 878 Main Street and our lovely refurbished condo with plenty of windows, sun and fun!
 
The space
The community fee of 12.45% is the new mass tax law as of guests staying after July 1st, 2019 - State Room Tax 5.70%, Town Room Tax 4.00% and Cape Cod Wastewater Tax 2.75% totaling: 12.45% :-( its the law and strictly enforced now)
 
Our property is down near Chatham Center –and is across the street from our favorite restaurant Del Mars and also across from the Chatham Market. About 2/10th of a mile from Oyster Pond Ocean Inlet – so fantastic location and great access to immediate downtown.

- Totally refurbished bathroom/s - and entire unit has been totally refurnished from studs out going on several years now
- Lovely outdoor deck with hard gas pipe grill
- Parking lot empty between before 10am and after 5pm (three very small stores – low traffic in the building)
- Access to garage for biking and other activities etc……..
 
Central A/C, Flat Screen TV, Comcast Cable and Full Stereo & Professional Pool Table.
 
Guest access
We do have a number bicycles, beach items (chairs, coolers, umbrellas) you may use at your convenience and can have access to the garage storage portion to enjoy more of the activities in Chatham! We do rent other properties around Chatham and this was our personal living space up to this year - we love the ambiance with a wonderful outdoor deck off the kitchen with plenty of seating, night lighting and hard line gas grill!
 
Other things to note
The three small shops get minor foot traffic and vehicle traffic but you have a wide open lot from Monday to Sunday after 5pm and before 10a each day. We are all set back just enough from any heavy crowds or foot traffic and enjoy the immediate area which have numerous shops and stores along the main street route.

One of the best places that we have stayed at - spacious, beautiful great room, sleeping area is at other end of apartment, clean, quick walk to CVS, market and village. Excellent location in general but not sure how far away from beach since it was thanksgiving weekend.

The place was great. My wife and I stayed for four nights in early October. Location is great, close to everything in Chatham and a good central location for exploring the rest of the Cape.

We had a great stay at David and Evelyn's lovely home in Chatham. Everything is updated and exceptionally clean. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms spacious. One thing we really liked is the layout allowed for closing off the bedroom areas so that kitchen and the rest of the home is separate. I'm sure parents with children would appreciate this. The location is great if you want to be right in town within walking distance to the restaurant and shopping area. There is a market and CVS across the street and a restaurant we liked super close by - the Red Nun. If you appreciate having everything near by this is perfect.

Extremely clean everywhere

Extremely clean everywhere. Beautifully appointed kitchen if you want to cook (we didn’t). Lots of space to relax. Easy walking distance to grocery/drug stores, local downtown (great restaurants, interesting shops) and lovely beaches.
