We walked in to a beautiful ocean view as well as the boats in the harbor, Hilton lagoon, Waikiki, and Ala Moana Park. We watched the Friday night fireworks over the Hilton Lagoon from the lanai, so much better than fighting the crowds on the beach, marina or Ala Moana Park. We have stayed in other condos in the Ilikai Marina and return for the view and location. This condo was supplied with a starter kit of kitchen soaps and bathroom toiletries. Extra bath towels etc. are in the hall behind sliding doors so we never ran out of towels. We didn't eat in too often but the kitchen was nicely stocked with any cookware and appliances we needed. The Livingroom sofa was very comfortable, not a futon like so many places in Hawaii. The chair could use new cushions. The TV in the Livingroom is small but adequate, we aren't in Hawaii to watch TV. The bed in the bedroom was ok for us, I believe it was a queen and that's what we are used to. One of the walls in the bedroom needed to be repaired and painted. The condo was stocked with chairs, towels and cooler for the beach as well as toys and boogey boards. The condo needs a little TLC like painting but we would definitely return. We have been to Honolulu 30+ times over the past 20+ years. Resort fees at adjacent properties led us to seek other locations to stay. Condo 1590 was our second stay at the Ilikai Marina. We found the condo to be a great place to stay for Christmas (12/23 - 12/30). It is conveniently located within walking distance of Ala Moana Mall, parks, surfing, swimming and many, many restaurants. Multiple bus stops, trolley stops, grocery stores, and convenient stores are just minutes away on foot. Condo 1590 had everything necessary to make our stay enjoyable: towels, bedding, minimum starting toiletries, cable television (Spectrum basic service), Wi-Fi (password protected), pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. The view? Amazing! Beautiful! The Friday-night fireworks sponsored by the Hilton Hawaiian Village are breathtaking and never get old. We are used to a king-size bed and would have preferred a king instead of the queen-size bed. That's not meant as a complaint by any means; just a preference on our part that others may share.

I was very satisfied with booking the condo at Ilikai Marina. Everyone was very efficient and prompt in responding to my inquiries. The condo suited my needs. I would book through this company again.
