Villa Jumbie is a custom built deluxe two bedroom, two and one half bath villa with pool featuring memorable views of Coral Bay and Bordeaux Mountain. Located on a cul-de-sac on Sea Grape Hill in Coral Bay with no neighbors, Villa Jumbie offers an ultra private location with fine amenities for your east end St. John vacation.
From the private, off-street parking location, guests will descend a stairway to the secluded front entrance which opens into the open and airy great room. Cathedral style ceilings adorned with open beams and stained cypress cover the entire great room and there are elegant sliding glass and screen doors leading to the pool deck and covered veranda. The comfortable living room area features island styled rattan furniture including a queen sized convertible sofa bed which frames the audio/video center consisting of a large HD flat screen TV with satellite programming, DVD Player and stereo music system. The designer kitchen with granite counter tops and granite breakfast island with two padded stools offers all the amenities and features you will need to prepare snacks to gourmet meals. The glass top dining table with seating for four is conveniently located close to the kitchen and breakfast island.
The kitchen and dining areas are also surrounded by sliding glass and screed doors which allow unrestricted views of Coral Bay Harbor and surrounding valley and mountain areas as well as providing access for cooling tropical breezes day and night. Exiting through the dining area or great room sliding doors will bring you to the beautiful covered portion of the wrap around deck complete with casual seating for gazing at the views or relaxing with a good book. Through the sliding glass door from the kitchen area is the inviting pool deck with lounge chairs for sunbathing, a powder room bath and the gas BBQ grill.
The lower bedroom located adjacent to the Great Room features a comfortable queen size bed with en suite bath. There is a flat screen TV with DVD player and a glass and screen sliding door which open onto the covered veranda deck. The second queen size bedroom with en suite bath is accessed by a beautiful metal and wood spiral staircase located just off the great room. This bedroom also has a flat screen TV with DVD player and a sliding glass and screen door leading to a private patio for two.
Villa Jumbie`s location is such that you can watch the moon come up over the pool and spend hours looking at the incredible star fields at night. During the daytime you can enjoy watching colorful Hummingbirds and Bananaquits frolicking around the deck feeders.
