It has 3 connected sections:
-The straw bale home: insulated with hand stacked straw bales (2BR)
-The tire home: front-facing part, made of recycled tires (3BR)
-The game room: which connects the other homes (1BR+air mattress)

You won't find a more unique Airbnb in the region. This 6 Bedroom (3 King, 1 Queen, 2 Full + a bonus air mattress) Earth Ship home tells a story of a family who wasn't afraid to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Hand built and self-sustaining, the Hobbit House features a giant circular "Hobbit" door for entry, hand-packed and hand-painted walls, GIANT indoor plants that are naturally watered by recycled rain or shower water, and a large pool with an outdoor shower.
Enjoy luxury bedding and luxury white towels throughout. There are two fully stocked kitchens (one in the "straw house" and one in the "tire house") for your convenience. One kitchen table seats 14, while the other smaller kitchen seats 6. The main living space features GIANT ceilings, wooden beams, and a large Smart TV. We have Wi-Fi throughout though it is strongest in the "straw house." Though the space is entirely sustainable and is built to maintain heat/coolness naturally, our home DOES have central heat and AC. All guests are more than welcome to use either of the two wood-burning stoves. There is one in each main house.
The "game room" connects the two homes and features tons of board games, books, a ping pong table, and cornhole. It also features giant framed newspaper articles that tell the story of our homeowner's passion for sustainability + the building process.
POOL IS OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 2ND! It is not heated and we now have a propane grill at the property!

★ 3 King Bedrooms: 1) in the tire house, on the first floor. This is the largest of the bedrooms, featuring giant plants and giant windows that overlook the back yard. Connects to a large private closet + private bathroom with hand-built tub with copper shower head. Please note there is not a door in the master bedroom; rather, a long hallway that fits with the architecture of the home provides privacy and separation from the rest of the home. 2) in straw house. Located up the logwood staircase. 3) In the game room. Features luxury bedding, a giant rug, and a privacy curtain.
★ 3 "Loft Bedrooms" 1) Private queen-sized bed in "tire house" atop staircase loft. Features a private closet + desk space beneath loft bedroom. 2) Private full-sized bed in "tire house" atop the staircase loft. ***COVID 19 Cleaning Procedures: To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, Cohobnb follows the CDC and EPA guidelines to effectively clean and disinfect every property after each check-out. Our cleaners wear gloves and masks while cleaning each property and use bleach-based disinfectants, paying additional attention to frequently touched surfaces. The following lists our cleaning procedures when turning over properties:

-Use of bleach-based disinfectant, paying additional attention to high-touch surfaces
-High heat wash and dry on linens whenever possible

Guests will have access to the entire property and all three "sections" of the house. Additionally, guests will have full access to the garage, yard, both kitchens, and pool.
We happily stock all basic welcome amenities for your stay with us! We provide amenities in the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room with enough to get you started on your trip. We do not provide excess for more than a couple of days worth and guests are responsible for purchasing these items for personal use if they run out during their stay.

The Hobbit House is located on a beautiful plot of land just 5 minutes from Downtown Rogers & less than 10 minutes from Beaver Lake. It is on a quiet, private plot of land surrounded by beautiful trees.
